Barkmet Company realized in the Czech Republic a production of steel hulls for the following chemical tankers:

Chemical tanker "Enjoy"

Czech shipyard Barkmet produced, in the past for  Dutch partners, steel hulls of Chemical Tanker „Enjoy“. It was a production of two hulls at once. The hulls were built as welded steel construction constructed out of grade A shipbuilding steel material throughout, intended for the use as type C Chemical Tanker on European inland waterways in accordance with the rules and under the  special survey of Lloyd’s Register of Shipping (LRoS), in addition  the construction of the hulls were comply with the regulations of the Nederlandse Scheepvaart Inspectie (NSI).




Chemical tanker "Watterpoort"

Czech shipyard Barkmet produced steel hull for inland chemical tanker „Watterport“. The contract was made for the Dutch customer. It was an overall welded structure made of stainless steel shipbuilding material quality grade A for the use as type „C“ double hull chemical tanker with integrated cargotanks for sailing on European inland waterways. Tankplating was executed in stainless steel material, DIN grade 1.4462 (Duplex). Chemical tanker „Watterport“ was built in accordance with the rules of Lloyd's Register of Shipping (LRoS). The construction of the hull was also in line with the directives of the Netherlands Directorate the "Nederlandse Scheepvaart Inspectie" (N.S.I.).

  

Steel hull for chemical tanker "Bergse Diep"

Czech shipyard Barkmet produced for the Dutch customer a hull for the chemical tanker "Bergse Diep" as welded steel structure, made of shipping steel Grade "A" complete and suitable for use as ship type "C" (double coat) - a chemical tanker on European inland waterways. This project has been realized under the supervision and certification according to Lloyd's Register of Shipping (LRoS) and Nederlandse Scheepvaart Inspectie (NSI).

Czech shipyard Barkmet produced for a German customer a steel hull for the chemical tanker "Franconia" as welded steel construction with integrated tanks, made of ship steel A-quality, complete and suitable for use as ship type C (double coat) - a chemical tanker on European inland waterways.
This project has been under construction supervision and certification according to Germanischer Lloyd (GL).

 

 


Steel hull for the chemical tanker "Steinburg"

Czech shipyard Barkmet has produced for a German customer the casco of the chemical tanker "Steinburg" as welded steel construction with integrated tanks, made of ship steel A-quality, complete and suitable for use as ship type C (double coat) - the chemical tanker on European inland waterways with a test pressure of 50 psi.
This project has been implemented under supervision and certification according to Germanischer Lloyd (GL) in compliance with RSchUO and ADNR.

 


Middle section for chemical tanker "Christoph"

It was the first and unique project in the Czech Republic and also the first ship, which was rebuilt in this manner.
Barkmet shipyard built and delivered to a German customer the Hull - amidships, welded steel construction with integrated transport tanks made of steel Grade "A" for shipbuilding, for use as a tanker ship type C (double plating) for transporting chemicals on Europe's inland waterways. The hull was made in accordance with the special supervision of Germanischer Lloyd (GL).
The old central section of the tanker was cut out and scrapped and the new middle section was welded to original parts - where the engine room and the cabin is situated, making the entire ship assembled. The reason the middle section of the Exchange was to its wear and also a requirement of the European Union that the chemical tankers should have doubled-shell bottom.

In the year 2012 Czech shipyard Barkmet built a steel hull for a tugboat „Duke“. This project was made for our Dutch partner. The vessel was provided with all necessary foundations, piping, doors, hatches, bulkhead-penetrations, manholes, attachements and paintworks in accordance with European shipbuilding quality standards under survey of Bureau Veritas, being the Classification Society.

 

Inland dry cargo barge "Norma II"

Czech shipyard Barkmet produced steel hull for inland dry cargo barge "Norma II". The contract was made for the Dutch customer. It was an overall welded structure made of stainless steel shipbuilding material quality grade A  - intended as a ship for dry cargo / containers on European inland waterways. "Norma II" was built in accordance with the rules of Lloyd's Register of Shipping (LRoS). The construction of the hull was also in line with the directives of the Netherlands Directorate the "Nederlandse Scheepvaart Inspectie" (N.S.I.).

Cruising engine yacht "Jantar-93"

Designed by Barkmet, the Jantar-93 is a recreational yacht for sea and inland waterways within area "C". It has a 6 person capacity and is suitable for short and long family vacations on the water. The yacht's hull is made of steel. Jantar offers a comfortable cabin that includes sleeping accommodations, shower, sink, toilet, and plentiful storage space. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, lockers and a salon with a wheelhouse. The latter includes a steering station with a chart table, captain’s seat, convertible leather sofa and a bar. There is also a teak-paneled stern for outdoor enjoyment. The salon and the cockpit are connected by a quadripartite folding door.
